A letter from our founder.
Most EdTech makes a simple promise: take what teachers already use and make it faster or more efficient. I think that’s aiming too low.
I started Reframe because the best learning moments — the ones that spark curiosity and wonder — don’t start with a worksheet or a video. They come from exploration, collaboration, and hands-on problem-solving.
That’s why Reframe isn’t here to optimize the old ways. We’re here to redefine what’s possible when classrooms aren’t constrained by screens, desks, or even walls.
We know that task predicts performance. When students are limited to worksheets, slides, and passive videos, cognitive engagement suffers. But when they move, build, question, explore, and create — together, in real time — learning becomes a joyful, rigorous journey of discovery.
Instead of replacing the classroom, we augment it. With mixed reality, teachers turn their physical classroom into an interactive space — placing phenomena, simulation, and models around the room. Students collaboratively explore and reason about them within their real-world environment.
Because the future of education isn’t about putting more content on screens. It’s about breaking down the walls between the physical and digital worlds—helping students interact with ideas in ways that feel relevant, meaningful, and human.
I’m grateful to the students and educators who have helped shape this vision. Your belief in Reframe is why we exist.
Instead of thinking about how we change the classroom, let's focus on reframing it.
